End User Licence Agreement

This End User Licence Agreement ("EULA") is between you and ICAREngine and governs your use of the ICARUS software synthesizer, including presets, wavetables, samples, documentation and updates (together, the "Software"). Installing or using the Software means you accept this EULA.

1. Licence grant

ICAREngine grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software for making music and sound. The licence covers a single user. The permitted number of simultaneous machine activations will be confirmed before release.

2. Your music is yours

Audio you create with the Software — songs, stems, sound design in your own productions, live performance — is yours, royalty-free, including for commercial release.

3. Restrictions

• No reselling, renting, sub-licensing or sharing of the Software or your licence key.
• No reverse engineering, decompiling or circumventing licence protection, except where permitted by law.
• No redistributing the Software's presets, wavetables or samples as standalone content (for example in sample packs or competing products).

4. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. ICAREngine retains all right, title and interest in the Software and all intellectual property in it.

5. Updates and support

ICAREngine may provide updates, fixes and improvements at its discretion. Support is provided by email at admin@icarengine.com.

6. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you materially breach it. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. Sections 2, 4, 7 and 8 survive termination.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in this EULA affects statutory rights that cannot be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ICAREngine's total liability under this EULA is limited to the amount you paid for the Software, and ICAREngine is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence applies instead.
